About

Maidstone Bowls Club is on the same site after 114 years!

We are Headquarters for the Kent County Bowling Association with, in recent years, the pleasure of having our own Geoff Chapman as County President with all the prestige that brings.

Along with various County honours for a number of our members, we also have had two of our members, Diane and Martyn Sekjer, go onto play for England.

We now have a magnificent green rated one of the best in the County,  a spacious clubhouse with a popular and well stocked bar, a thriving social scene and facilities to entertain and cater for large events.

As well as our Ladies providing us, and larger events, with excellent catering we also have our Wednesday Crew of stalwarts who maintain the green, the surrounds and, during the winter, take on the Clubhouse maintenance.  Along with the various Committees we are very dedicated Members indeed.

We are a very friendly and sociable club and delight in supporting each other in our bowling endeavours. (This last made even easier on Friday evenings during the summer with our in-house  fresh hot dogs!)

"Friendly bowls club. Good green. Good bar."

Want to try playing?

No Problem.

We have coaches to guide you through the basics.  The only equipment you need are flat soled shoes.  We can provide bowls for you to start.

We would encourage you to come to our Monday Club where everyone is friendly and helpful and a wonderful way to get used to bowling.
